Reiche is the first teacher led and teacher governed school in Maine.  Instead of a traditional principal, Lead Teachers, four committees and a Leadership Team collaborate with parents to ensure that our vision and values are reflected in our school community.

National Board Facilitation. Middle school art teacher whose leadership at both the local and state level provides support for numerous candidates as they work through the rigorous process of analysis and self-reflection of their professional practice in pursuit of advanced certification through the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards.

High school literacy coach who also serves in a number of teacher-leader roles supporting the planning and delivery of building-level professional development (PD) as well as district-level improvement initiatives; collaborating with other teacher-leaders and administrators to facilitate improvements in teaching and learning.

High school music teacher who also serves as a teacher leader, fostering a collaborative culture and that promotes professional learning for continuous improvement. Leads colleagues in professional development activities, and collaborates with other teacher leaders and administrators on district (and cross-district) level initiatives to improve teaching and learning.
